" . . . in all things Christ pre-eminent."
Colossians 1:18
The purpose of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church is to declare a distinctively Christ-centered worldview and to exhibit, in word and deed, the power of God's transforming grace in Jesus Christ, which provides redemption, strength, meaning and hope in all areas of life.
At Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church we receive with joy the good news that our acceptance by God and our eternal salvation come through faith in Jesus Christ alone, apart from works. We seek to proclaim this gospel...
-
through our speech and conduct.
-
through meaningful worship.
-
through the preaching and teaching of the Bible.
-
through transformed lives lived for Christ.
We believe that the central message of the Bible is the person and work of Jesus Christ who is in all things pre-eminent.
We believe that the Bible is the very Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error, a living Word which speaks today and transforms hearts and lives
(2 Timothy 3:16-17).
We proclaim that Christianity is a faith for all of life, impacting our homes, families, work, culture, and the whole world by the gospel of grace, by which we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
