Good Shepherd is committed to supporting the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ both in the Valparaiso area and around the world, believing that Jesus alone offers hope to a fallen world.
Good Shepherd supports a number of global missionaries as well as more locally ministries. Good Shepherd is involved in working with First Contact, which coordinates the ministry to the needy in the Valparaiso area, as well as serving a ministry in the Black Oak area near Gary.
Within the church, there are opportunities to serve in the nursery, Sunday school instruction, music ministry, youth activities, and hosting small groups or fellowship activities.
