Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church

Beliefs

Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church is a Bible-believing, Christ-centered, grace-based and redemptive-focused congregation.  We believe that Scripture speaks to all areas of life and is the foundation of all truth, beauty and goodness.

We seek to proclaim this gospel...

  • through our speech and conduct.
  • through meaningful worship.
  • through the preaching and teaching of the Bible.
  • through transformed lives lived for Christ.

We believe that the Bible is the very Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error, a living Word which speaks today and transforms hearts and lives.  (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We proclaim that Christianity is a faith for all of life, impacting our homes, families, work, culture, and the whole world by the gospel of grace, by which we are saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We are committed to the historic Christian faith and adhere to the early ecumenical creeds such as The Apostles' Creed and The Nicene Creed.  We are also committed to the historic Reformed and Protestant faith and receive the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger and Shorter Catechisms as a summary of Christian truth taught in the Bible.
