| Katie and Mrs. O'Neal played an amazing duet of a classical piece. It would have been even better had they been in tune with one another. By the end of the piece, however, the listener got used to it and they almost did sound in tune! |

| Mr. Rollo played a lovely medley of several Christian songs. |

Sonny and Cher are in the house! The Grand Finale of the night was a surprise visit by Sonny and Cher singing, "I Got You, Babe!" Cher's sweet voice contrasted with Sonny's (we won't say how!). They brought the house down! |

Fall 09 Hay Ride at Lindborgs
| Talent Show, January 31, 2009 |
There was a carry-in dinner after which about 15 acts performed. Bryan O'Neal was a terrific MC. A highlight was Nelson Schoon's direction of a skit of the parable of the soils, with different folks playing the sower, the seeds, crows, and the sun. The audience was howling during the performance. Who knew Nelson was like that!! The children and adults did a wonderful job. We even had a comedy act. These photos don't represent all the acts. The photographer apologizes for omissions! |

| Lake at Good Shepherd Sept. 9-14-08 |
Due to record-setting rainfall the Chicago-land area experienced flooded basements and blocked roadways. Good Shepherd's retention pond did what it was supposed to do: slowing the run-off from the rain and preventing worse flooding. The retention ponds around town were amazingly full. |
