Pastor Rick has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America for 19 years. Prior to coming to Good Shepherd, he pastored a church in Southern Illinois for 7 years.  He holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Toledo, as well as an M.Div. and M.A. from Covenant Theological Seminary, the latter degree with an emphasis in Christianity and Contemporary Culture.  Rick has also served as a Special Lecturer at Covenant Theological Seminary, instructing students in the area of homiletics (preaching). He and his wife, LauraEllen, have been married for 19 years and have 3 children.

Lucy has had a varied work background (as an archivist, editor, and teacher) and appreciates the opportunity as secretary to use many of the same skills. She is glad to assist you with your questions, concerns, and needs. She is married to Bruce and has three grown children.
